Arrest made in hit and run boat accident on Smith Mountain Lake

The Virginia Department of Game and Inland Fisheries (DGIF) Law Enforcement Division investigated a hit and run boating accident that occurred on Smith Mountain Lake on Sunday, June 26,. This accident occurred in the Franklin County portion of the lake in the vicinity of the No Wake Zone at Bridgewater Plaza at approximately 3:30 p.m.
