BCSO makes arrests in Huddleston burglaries

Steve Croy and Tiffany Tolley were arrested late Friday afternoon. They were transported to the Bedford Adult Detention Center.

Bedford County Sheriff’s Office investigators have arrested three suspects in connection with a series of business and residential burglaries in the Huddleston area of Bedford County.

The burglaries occurred between January 24 and February 13. Bronson A. Jarrett, 19, of Roanoke, was arrested on February 16 and charged with six burglaries and six grand larcenies. He is being held in the Bedford Adult Detention Center.

The business burglaries the trio are charged with include at the Huddleston Ruritan Club and the Bedford County Parks and Recreation building located near the Ruritan building and the Virginia Dare.

The night of January 24 or early morning hours of January 25, suspects broke into the Huddleston Ruritan Club Building. Once inside the building, the suspect cut the power cords to all the appliances in the building.

Investigators also have arrested Steve L. Croy, 25, and Tiffany M. Tolley, 30. Both Croy and Tolley are residents of Roanoke but have numerous ties to Bedford County, Campbell County, Buckingham County and the city of Lynchburg, according to authorities.
