Jefferson Forest showed that it can hang with the best of the best.

At least for a half.

The Cavs played the high-flying Lancers of Amherst County on even terms throughout the second half.

Regrettably, the first half counted, as the Lancers posted a 74-61 win in front of a lively crowd at JF's Sabredome.
