    As we get closer to our 33rd annual Centerfest, which will take place on September 27, we are just so excited about the many inspiring vendors who will fill the streets of Centertown!
    Where would Centerfest be without its vendors? The lovely, talented people that set up in the middle of our streets, that last warm Saturday in September, are the ones breathe life into our festival!
    Maybe you are thinking about being one of those people, but you are uncertain of the steps it takes to reserve yourself a space at Centerfest. If so, then you’ve come to the right corner!
    Centerfest is one of Virginia’s largest outdoor festivals and it is a rain or shine event! We host thousands of people in the wonderful town of Bedford and we’re looking for vendors representing shops, restaurants, clubs, organizations, businesses and professional services, churches, and scout groups, as well as vendors who offer handmade clothing, art, home goods, toys, games, pet accessories and so much more! That means we want you!
    We are excited to announce that we’ve launched a new option this year for our vendors, enabling them to complete and submit both their applications and their payment online. For those who would prefer to pay by check, you can also download a paper application from our website.
    When accepting applications, we divide our vendors into two groups: sales and food. For your convenience, listed below are the subcategories under each of the two groups as well as a short description and the cost for each specific type of vendor.
    Artist/Craft Artisan Sales. $85 per 10’X10’ space/$65 for Bedford Area Artists/Artisans. This category is for any artist/artisan whose work is handcrafted by the vendor.
    Antiques and Collectables Sales. $85 per 10’X10’ space/$65 for Bedford Area Antique Dealers. This category is for antique and collectable dealers who want to sell their products. No flea market or yard sale items please.
    Club or Organization Display. $55 per 10’X10’ space/$40 for Bedford Area Clubs or Organizations. This category is for not-for-profit clubs or organizations who want to provide information on the goals or activities of their club or organization.  The solicitation of donations and the sale of event or raffle tickets are permitted.  The sale of baked goods or other items must be approved by event manager prior to the event.
    Commercial or Professional Display or Sales $60 per 10’X10’ space/$40 for Bedford Area Businesses. This category is for businesses who only want to provide information about their products or services.  IF THE BUSINESS CHOOSES TO SELL THEIR PRODUCT, THERE IS AN ADDITIONAL CHARGE OF $25.
    FOOD: Full Service Menu. $275 per 10’X15’ space/$200.00 for Bedford Area vendor
This category is for any vendor selling 3 items or more.
    Limited Service Menu. $175 per 10’X15’ space/$100 for Bedford Area vendor
This category is for any vendor selling 2  items or less.
    Please note that if you are a vendor in need of electricity, there is an additional $25 fee and you are required to provide your own extension cord.

    Our registration deadline for Centerfest is September 1, though late registrations will be considered through September 8 and will be subject to a $35 late fee.
    Set up for Centerfest begins at 6 a.m. and all vehicles have to be off the streets by 9 a.m. We ask that our vendors plan to be available from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and that they do not pack up early! We are also inviting our vendors to join us for concert in the Farmers Market that will run from 6-8 p.m. as a wrap up to this fun-filled festival.
