Empowering relationships seminar
Eastlake Community Church in Moneta is sponsoring the Family Foundations video seminar titled Empowering Relationships on February 18-19. This seminar focuses on improving one's relationship with family, friends, coworkers and others. Anyone who has suffered a broken marriage, an unsuccessful career or a general lack of happiness will find comfort and healing in this seminar. Enrollment is limited. Family Conference
Colonial Baptist Church in Blue Ridge invites your family to the “Strength for the Family” Family Conference Feb. 11-13. A nursery will be provided for all sessions and all children will be attended to. Adult sessions: children grade 5 – teen – adult. Children sessions: children K-4.

The Agape Pancake Breakfast is being held on February 12 from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. at the Bedford Applebee's on 460. Tickets are $5 each and can be purchases at The Agape Center, Eastlake Community Church, Radford Baptist, Covenant Fellowship and Dwelling Place.
Valentine’s Spaghetti Dinner
There will be a Valentine’s Spaghetti Dinner at Nicopolis UMC in Bedford on Feb. 12 from 5-7 p.m. Cost is $5 per plate, take out available. Funds go to the youth.

Annual Black History Program
The Senior Usher Board of Washington Street Baptist Church, where the Rev. Henry A. Henderson is the pastor, will be celebrating its 22nd Annual Black History Program on Sunday, Feb. 13, at 3 p.m. The program will consist of monologues, readings and poems. The Men’s Chorus of Washington Street Baptist Church under the direction of Mildred Padgett, will be the guest choir.
New Life hosts Bedford Pregnancy Center
New Life Community Baptist Church will host Bedford Pregnancy Center Director, Lori Lewis, on Sunday, Feb. 13 during the 10:30 a.m. worship service. On Saturday, Feb. 26, at 5 p.m. New Life Baptist Church, Bedford, will be celebrating Black History, special guest will be Infinite Praise of Central Virginia under the direction of Judy Watkins and the Rev. Rodney All. The pastor is William Goode.

Centering Prayer Workshop
An Introductory Centering Prayer Workshop will be held on Saturday, March 5, from 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. at Covenant Presbyterian Church. (Handicap accessible) This workshop will be conducted by Commissioned Presenters, trained by Contemplative Outreach, Ltd. Contemplative Outreach Ltd. Is an international network of faith communities whose primary purpose is to share the method of Centering Prayer. The fee of $25 covers box lunch and materials.
