The Mt. Olivet Baptist Church, Bunker Hill Community, where the Rev. Jesse Waller is pastor, will be having Fall Revival Oct. 18-22. The preacher for the week will be Elder Johnny W. Hunt. Prayer service will be at 7 p.m. nightly with church services starting at 7:30 nightly. Area choirs will be there nightly.

Thursday, Oct. 7- “Credit Reports & Credit Scores.” Brendan Vigorito- Director of Education & Community Relations- Money Management International. Subjects covered: “How Can My Credit Report Be Used?”, “Where Do Credit Reporting Agencies Obtain Information?”, “What Information is Not in a Credit Report?” and more.
Thursday, Oct. 14- “Self Defense for Men & Women” Kenton Steryous- Tang Soo Do- 1st Degree Black Belt. This class will focus on basic self defense techniques, and stress a constant awareness of one's surroundings.
Thursday, Oct. 21- “Car Care Maintenance Made Simple.” Certified ASE Instructors and Technicians. In an economy where money is tight, simple car maintenance can save a lot of money. This is Car Care 101- checking the tires, fluids, brakes and more.

Downtown Sounds of Praise Concert
The Downtown Moneta Association and Lyons Team Realtors have announced the first Downtown Sounds of Praise Concert on Saturday, Oct. 9, Starting at 5 p.m. Concert will feature several local church ministries, organizations and bands, including groups from Liberty University. Kendra Cook Penn, longtime soloist at Thomas Road Baptist Church, will also be performing. There are still opportunities for musical ministries and bands to sign-up.
