Revival
There will be a Revival at Morgans Baptist Church Sept. 12-15 at 7 p.m. featuring the Johnsons.
For over 28 years, Dr. Larry Johnson and his musical family traveled across North America and countries beyond preaching and singing the Gospel message of Jesus Christ. Now, with their children grown and rarely able to sing with them, Larry and Donna still want to really make a difference in the lives of people, whether through a song or a sermon. Their desire is to present the Gospel in a way that will not only lead people to Christ, but that will also take people to another level in their relationship with Christ. From their home base in Ontario, this Canadian family has literally lived the words of a great song “Wherever He Leads, I’ll Go!”
They record in Nashville, Tenn., and have recently released their 12th project entitled “Traveling On.” In addition to preaching and singing in hundreds of local churches, they have appeared on local and national television, at city parks, on gospel cruises and at Canada’s Wonderland. In Gospel concerts, they have worked with such groups as the Cathedrals, the Dixie Melody Boys, the Nelons, Greater Vision, the Harvesters and the Calvarymen.
Larry, an ordained Baptist minister since 1974, presents Biblical truths addressing the complexity and confusion of our day in a way that people of all ages and backgrounds can easily understand. His wife, Donna, a retired registered nurse, sings with him and is a godly example for Christian wives and mothers.
