With six months left to go in this fiscal year, city of Bedford officials are having to keep a close eye on this year’s budget, while beginning to plan for next year’s budget shortfall.
City Council’s finance committee met last week to discuss both budgets and begin looking at possible cuts for next year because of the anticipated cuts in revenue. The city expects to receive at least $500,000 less in school funding next year.
