Eagles kick Northside in BRD opener

Don’t fall asleep on these guys, or they’ll sneak up on you.

“These guys” are the Staunton River soccer team.  The program continues its slow but steady growth, flexing its collective muscles in a 2-1 win over Northside.

Guess who’s sitting atop of the Blue Ridge District, all by their lonesome?  These guys.

True, they’re 1-0.  Also true, William Byrd, Alleghany and Lord Botetourt have yet to play a match.  Still, being in first place this early in the season has its advantages.
