Foreign exchange

Foreign exchange students and their Bedford area host families often form close bonds during their year together.

This happened in the case of Helena Penninger and Charles and Linda Exley. The Exleys hosted the German teen during her year at Liberty High School during the 2005-2006 school year. This past Christmas, the Exleys hosted Penninger again, along with her mother, Claudine, for a visit.
