Forty-five years ago Clarence Brown, at the age of 25, traveled to Washington D.C. from New Jersey. He was present to hear Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. deliver his now famous “I Have a Dream” speech on the steps at the Lincoln Memorial on Aug. 28, 1963, during the March on Washington for Jobs and Freedom.
