Howard L. Davies, 69, Roanoke

    Howard “Howie” Louis Davies, 69, of Roanoke, formerly of Moneta, passed away on, Friday, Dec. 30, 2011 at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital.  Born in Rochester, NY on Aug. 28, 1942, he was a son of Mary Wellman and the late Louis Davies.  In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his wife, Nancy Schmalzbauer.
