Joanne S. Dawson, 71, Goode

    Joanne Marie Sharp Dawson, 71, of Goode, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 25, 2012 at her residence. She was twice married and preceded in death by both husbands, Raymond Marshall Sharp and Clark Edward Dawson. Born October 2, 1940 in Lynchburg, she was the daughter of the late David E. and Hazel Powell Booth.
    She was retired from Ericsson after many years of service. She was a member, in early life, at Quaker Memorial Presbyterian Church and later watched the service of Gethsemane Baptist Church on television due to her health.
