John D. Milhous, 77, Amherst

    John David Milhous, 77, of Amherst, passed away on Saturday, Aug. 21, 2010. He was a son of the late David Milhous and Ruth Ballard Milhous. He is survived by his wife, Carol Ann Hughes Milhous, a son, Mark Milhous, two daughters, Marci Brown and Melissa Batman.

    A celebration of John’s life was held on Friday Aug. 27, 2010 at 7:30 at the Blue Ridge Community Church.        Arrangements are being handled by Updike Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Bedford.
