It is fairly easy to show character when everything is going your way; much more difficult to do so when faced with disappointment.

The Liberty boys' basketball squad showed a ton of character as it knocked off state AA powerhouse R.E. Lee last Friday night. Having fallen by a significant margin (79-52) to the Leemen earlier this season and having lost a heartbreaker to Seminole rival Brookville the night before, there was little reason to expect the Minutemen to even show up for the game with Lee.
