Lillie R. Abbott, 85, Campbell County

    Lillie “Louise” Reid Abbott, 85, of Campbell County, passed away Thursday, July 5, 2012.  Born Sept. 18, 1926 in Naugatuek, Mingo County, WV; she is a daughter of George Washington Reid and Beulah Thompson Reid. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Thomas Edward Abbott: two brothers; Charles Reid and Robert Reid.
    Lillie “Louise” is survived by: three sons; Thomas Edward Abbott, Jr. and his wife, Becky of Lynchburg, R. Reid Abbott and his wife, Shirley of Goode, David Lee Abbott and his wife, Kathy of Forest: a daughter; Jenny White: eight grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren: three sisters: Catherin Virts of Roanoke, Margaret Wright and Betty Goodman and her husband, Charles of Bedford: a brother: Jack Reid of Bedford.
    A graveside service was held 10 am, Monday, July 9, 2012 at Virginia Memorial Park.
