At its meeting Tuesday, Bedford City Council was expected to lift mandatory restrictions on the use of water that had been in effect since October.
The city's Stoney Creek Reservoir is now full, according to city manager Charles Kolakowski.
Kolakowski said city staff was prepared Tuesday to recommend lifting the restrictions.
"We express our appreciation to all who did what they could to save water," he said.
When the restrictions were implemented in October, the reservoir was 55 inches below the spillway. The water level had been dropping steadily since August.
A combination of the restrictions being implemented and a more normal rainfall pattern helped the reservoir fill, he stated.
