Montvale man guilty of selling heroin

A 52-year-old Montvale man who suffers from multiple sclerosis pleaded no contest Friday to distributing heroin from his residence.

As a result of his plea, Mickey Dale Leonard was convicted and received a 15 year sentence on that charge and a separate charge of having a firearm while in possession of the heroin. He will have to serve seven years of the sentence with the other eight years suspended.
