Peaks run a smashing success

Perfect weather, a challenging course and the Christmas spirit combined to make the YMCA's annual Peaks of Otter Classic the largest in its 28 year history. The event, which included 5K and 10K runs, along with fun runs for the younger harriers, drew 350 eager participants.

The sun broke through an overcast sky on the crisp Saturday morning just in time to welcome Bedford's finest runners across the finish line.
