Sharon Hodges sent us this week's Photo of the Week. She grabbed her shot using a Canon Rebel 3Ti and a 50 mm fixed lens with a 1.4 aperture (ISO at 100 for high noon shooting). She told us, "My sister lives in Bedford and works in Lynchburg and called one morning to tell me that the men at her work noticed a doe was nearby, prancing in distress. (They were moving steel with a forklift at the time.) A few minutes later they found out why. When they moved some steel, there was this fawn laying under it. My sister moved the fawn to the woods for the mother to have better access, and it laid there to wait on mom. I drove over, hoping it was still there, and it was! The doe stayed in the woods until the workers left the lot for the day before reuniting with the fawn. I was able to shoot about 10 pictures...I only spent about 10 minutes with it because I didn't want to upset the doe anymore than she already was."
