Police are looking for information on the identity of a suspect who attempted an armed roberry at the Taco Bell in Forest Wednesday night.
Bedford County 911 dispatchers received a call a little after 11 p.m. Wednesday from the Taco Bell, 14867 Forest Road in Forest reporting the attempted armed robbery. The caller, an employee, advised that a male subject had entered the business through the drive-through window.
The suspect was wearing brown gloves, black sweat pants and black sweat shirt, black and silver tennis shoes, dark colored hat and blue sun glasses. He had a torn black T-shirt covering his face. He displayed a black hand gun and demanded money. After learning that the money had been secured for the evening, the suspect left the business on foot and was seen running towards Elkton Farm Road, according to a release from the Bedford County Sheriff's Office.
