A politically motivated decision

    The weekend before last I read an interview with Major General  H.R. McMaster in the Wall Street Journal’s weekend edition. The interview reminded me of the grave mistake that President Barack Obama is making by his determination to stick to his arbitrary date for withdrawing American troops from Afghanistan regardless of what the situation demands.
    The article points out that we have been making progress since President Obama’s surge reached its peak. The article states:
