Rec League football gets cooking

 The high schoolers weren’t the only ones getting into the gridiron spirit.  The local rec teams got rolling last week across the county.  In the above shot, some of the Bedford Panthers (9-10 year olds) mix it up during blocking drills.  Head Coach Tim Ball pushed his 28 charges through the motions, shouting encouragement throughout.  “This is a good group,” he assessed.  “They’re young, but they have good athleticism and energy.”  Ball and the rest of the rec coaches are prepping their teams for the late-August seaso
