A Virginia inmate wants a sex change operation. And he wants Virginia taxpayers to foot the bill.
    This is ridiculous.
    The inmate now goes by the name Ophelia De’lonta, and has apparently been diagnosed with gender identity disorder.
    De’lonta believes she is trapped in the body of the opposite sex. But, more importantly, De’lonta is being held captive by another entity, the Virginia court system. She has been incarcerated since 1983, serving a 73-year sentence for bank robbery.
