Schedule of events for Living Liberty/Hunter?s Retreat April 25 to 27

New events:

Karen Nichols will present Civil War era songs in concert Friday night at the Meeting House Church at 8 p.m.. Music was important to those experiencing the Civil War on the battlefront and back home, and various songs emerged as inspirational and culturally long-lasting. Such songs as Lorena, The Vacant Chair and much of Stephen Foster?s work will be featured in this hour long tribute to the music of that time. This concert and reception is provided by the Bedford Historical Society.
