School board begins to develop plan for future facilities

-A A +A
By Tom Wilmoth

Over the next several weeks staff from the Bedford County Public Schools Central Office will be compiling a list of possible capital improvement plans to present to the Board of Supervisors this year. At least one of those plans is likely to include building a new gymnasium at Bedford Primary School.

The Bedford County School Board held a work session last Thursday to talk about the school system’s facilities as part of the process of developing a CIP list. The hope is that list will be included in the overall county CIP plan for budget purposes.
