  The way that the tea leaves are reading, it looks as though B-level sports will soon go the way of others that have felt the cold steel of the budget knife.

The fact of the matter is, we have run out of money and simply cannot continue to spend as we have in the past, absent a tax increase.

I don’t envy those who sit on the school board and make such decisions.

At this point, it seems as though they have decided that, should there be a budgetary shortfall, B-level sports are subject to being eliminated.
