Sports commentary: Couch musings

  I don't consider myself to be a couch potato.  Yet I became one at the most opportune of times.

Actually, I was forced into the role:  a result of an injury sustained during the course of play.

Play?  What's a fellow my age playing?  Why senior softball, thanks for asking.

I play with two outfits ("team" is a bit of a stretch here).  The Bedford crew plays on Tuesday evenings.  Until the summer, alas, my Tuesday evenings are filled.

So on Wednesday mornings, I play with a group in Lynchburg.
