Sports commentary: The Deutsche tax dodge

  OK, friends.  Now I need your help.

You see, the wife and I just got back from our trip to Germany, only to find out that the management of this newspaper will not reimburse us for our troubles.

So, our expenses for airfare, gas (more on that later), wursts and Lowenbrau will have to be covered with my own funds.

Unless, of course, I can set this up as a tax dodge.  I mean, as a legitimate tax expense.

Of course, to do so, I’ll have to be able to show a linkage between the trip and my work.
