The president of the United States placed a call to the owner of the Philadelphia Eagles to commend him for hiring a dog killer.

Imbecilic.  Inappropriate.  Inane.

I’ve got nothing against Michael Vick’s seeking gainful employment.  

I’ve got nothing against the success that he has realized this season, including his being named the starting quarterback for the NFC in the Pro Bowl.
