SRMS, SRHS principals retiring after three decades of service

After three decades of service in education, Staunton River Middle School Principal Linwood Roberts and Staunton River High School Principal Michael Kelly will be retiring from the Bedford County School System at the end of this school year.

But they won't be leaving the work force. Each is ready to step into new vocations as of July 1.

Kelly has spent the past 19 years with Bedford County Schools, following 11 spent as a teacher in Campbell County. He began his teaching career working with students with disabilities in 1978.
