A series of capital improvement requests with a total price tag of $1.3 million was greeted with caution from the Bedford County Board of Supervisors at its regular Monday night meeting. The 18 requests ranged in cost from $20,000 for the county’s on-line plan review system to $400,000 for emergency apparatus for fire and rescue.
