Taco Bell ran a promotion in conjunction with this year’s World Series. Titled “Steal a base, steal a taco,” the chain offered a free taco to anyone who walked in the door when a player from either team in the series stole a base during play.
Just when you think that marketing within sports has reached an absolute saturation point, along comes yet another idea, such as this one. I will give the Taco Bellers credit for a fairly clever campaign. I’ll also be sure to swing by for my free taco, muchas gracias.
