    Gaynelle L. Scott, 89 of Bedford died Nov. 17, 2012. She was the daughter of the late Herbert and Maude Stiff. She is preceded in death by children Barbara Brown, Marion Otey and Paul “Cream” Anderson.
    She is survived by two children, Claude Anderson and Claudia Steptoe.
    Funeral services will be held Saturday, Nov. 24, 2012 at 11 a.m. at Washington Street Baptist Church. Interment will follow in Fairmont Cemetery.

    William McKnight “Bill” Benton, Sr., 96, and Edith Sligh Benton, 97, of Big Island died together at their residence Saturday, June 30, 2012. They were married 71 loving years.
    Bill was born in the Panama Canal Zone, March 10, 1916; a son of the late Henry and Edna Benton. In addition to his parents, Bill was preceded in death by a sister, Margaret Benton Burger, and brothers, Edward Benton and Henry Benton, II. He was survived by a brother, Thomas Benton.

    Katie Lyla Overstreet Lynch, 60, of Bedford, died Sunday, July 1, 2012 at Bedford Memorial Hospital.  She was born Sept. 12, 1951 in Bedford, a daughter of the late Hazel Victoria Johnson Overstreet and Willie Mack Overstreet.

    Francis Joseph Randazzo, 91, of Bedford, died Saturday, June 30, 2012. Born Jan. 30, 1921 in New York, NY; he was the son of the late Joseph Randazzo and Pearl Bogart Randazzo and the husband of the late Dorothy Greene Randazzo.
    Francis served during WWII in the Army Air Corp. He was a retired FAA Radar Chief at Apple Orchard Mountain.
    In addition to his parents and wife, Francis was preceded in death by a sister, Elsie Randazzo and a daughter-in-law, Teresa Jackson Randazzo.
