        Instead of uprooting more than 70 current students at Stewartsville Elementary, as part of the redistricting plan to move Body Camp Elementary students to a new school next year when that school closes, the Bedford County School Board opted for a less intrusive option.

A joint letter from Bedford County Public Schools and the Department of Health was sent to all parents at Thaxton Elementary on Monday providing additional details.
