        After Mitt Romney’s loss in the presidential race of 2012, the Republican National Committee carried out what it called an “autopsy” to determine how the party could produce better results in the future.
        Pardon me, but autopsies are for dead bodies, aren’t they? Well, if Republicans suspected they might be dead after 2012, what will they think if Trump goes down to the repudiating defeat he seems likely to reap?

        We have been treated to a spate of Muslim terrorist attacks and harassments aimed at Christians and Jews in the last few weeks. Last week, a Jewish Rabbi in France was stabbed by a man shouting “Allahu Akbar” during the attack. Last month, a French priest was murdered in his church, while conducting mass, by two knife-wilding Muslim unholy warriors.

        Ninety-six years ago women in this country gained the right to vote, yet representation of women in public office has been anemic. Women constitute 51% of the population and our voices and perspective need to be represented in all governmental positions, including the presidency.
