  • Hillary’s chance to prove her manhood?

China is still seething with bellicosity following a decision by the Permanent Court of Arbitration at the Hague that ruled against China’s claims in the South China Sea. This court arbitrates conflicts between countries under the UN Convention on the Law of the Sea. Both China and the Philippines, which filed a complaint with this court, are signatories to this treaty.

    Supports Clinton

As a registered nurse, I have seen many people who are seriously ill and without the resources to pay for health care.

    The Democratic Party

It perplexes a lot of people, me included, about why many people who are struggling economically and socially vote against their own economic and social interests.  It is stranger still that these same people seem to be the ones who revel in criticizing the very political party that has done the most for them.   Think about it.

    Why Clinton is better on
    climate change/global warming

The following is a letter from the scientific community sent to Congress in June of 2016.
“We, as leaders of major scientific organizations, write to remind you of the consensus scientificview of climate change.
Observations throughout the world make it clear that climate change is occurring, and rigorous

    Howell’s
    obsession

It is ironic Rick Howell recently wrote for more gun control and this week expressed his opinion regarding a Texas abortion law.
In the first article, Howell opined the need to take away a constitutional right to bear arms purportedly to save lives, and this week applauds a court-mandated right that has left millions dead. In one instance, he demands the courts and politicians legislate morality, and in the next, condemns legislation that attempts to do just that.

  • Let us remember what it means to be an American

Last week, as we celebrated our nation's 240th year of independence, I had the profound honor of attending the annual 4th of July celebration at Thomas Jefferson's Monticello. Each year, that celebration includes a naturalization ceremony in which a group of new citizens takes the Oath of Allegiance to the United States, affirming that they will support and defend the Constitution and our laws against all enemies, foreign and domestic, bearing true faith and allegiance to the same.

  • Clinton email investigation leaves more questions than answers

What does it say to the public when officials at the highest levels are not held accountable? The American people expect government officials to abide by the law just like everyone else. However, that does not appear to be the case for former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton. Just a few days ago, FBI Director James Comey announced his recommendation that no criminal charges be filed against Secretary Clinton for her use of a private email server while at the State Department and the mishandling of classified information.

  • What others had to say about the Dallas shootings

    Congressman Bob Goodlatte (R-Va.):

“Too many people have lost their lives this week due to senseless acts of violence.
