  • 'Tis the season
By Mike Forster sports@bedfordbulletin.com   Neither snow nor rain nor heat nor gloom of night stays these couriers from the swift completion of their appointed rounds.   The above quotation, often directed in a description of mail carriers, was equally apt this past Saturday. Neither gloomy skies nor rainy conditions could prevent nearly 400 couriers from the swift completion of their appointed trip 'round Bedford's famous Loop.

  • Beloved coach to retire
It changed his life. And he certainly changed many lives, in turn. Then there's Scott Sigmon. Better known as "Cujo" in these parts, the best boxer to ever come from this area seemed to get his one chance when he went toe-to-toe with former World Champion Kelly Pavlik in Las Vegas. That June, 2012, bout had Pavlik winning a technical knockout in the seventh round.
