Bedford Christmas Parade is Saturday

Organizers of Bedford’s 2018 Christmas Parade are expecting big crowds for this year’s annual event.
The committee, comprised of local community representatives, and representatives from town departments have been working since September to ensure that this year’s parade is exceptional, according to Dianne Erb, CVABC Director of Special Events and Communications.
Bedford’s parade will be held this Saturday, December 1, at 11 a.m,. and will follow the same parade route as years past.   The parade consists of a  wide variety of participants, including decorated floats, motor vehicles, marching groups and bands, clowns, and ending with Santa and a display of horses and carriages.
“The commitment shown by this community for our parade is incredibly exciting,” Erb noted in a press release. “Our Presenting Parade Sponsor is Nadine Blakeley, Realtor with Re/MAX.”
The theme of the parade is “Ringing in the Holidays.”
The committee hopes that the business community will remember the parade in their 2019 marketing & budget plans to keep this great event growing.  To sponsor the parade, or get more information, email Dianne Erb, CVABC Director of Special Events and Communications, at Dianne@lynchburgrma.com or call 540-587-6023.
