JF makes up ground with one round to play

By Mike Forster

For a youngish bunch, the Jefferson Forest golf crew is showing remarkable maturity.

Devoid of any seniors, the Cav greensmen completed their remarkable comeback performance, knotting Seminole District favorite E.C. Glass on the second-to-last round of the regular season.

That round, played at Amherst's home course of Winton Country Club, took place last Tuesday.  The Cavs headed into play a single stroke behind the Glaziers.  Eighteen holes later, the two teams were knotted.
