By Tom Wilmoth

A man in his 60s was injured Thursday afternoon when a tractor he was using rolled over on him at Scott's Strawberry Farm in Moneta. The man was airlifted by MedFlight 3 to Lynchburg General Hospital. As many as 50 emergency personnel from multiple agencies joined in the rescue effort, that took about an hour and a half to free the man out from under the tractor. The man was conscious while he was being extricated. He had been pinned by the tractor's steering wheel. Some other workers on the farm heard him yelling for help.
