    Supports Miller

On June 11,  I’ll be voting in the Republican Primary.  With the well-deserved retirement of Mike Brown, we find ourselves with three Republican candidates for Bedford County Sheriff ( 2 independent candidates will also run in the General Election in November).

Why I will vote for my father

I haven’t said much on the Bedford County Sheriffs campaign, because all of you know who I’m voting for. However, I feel that I need to tell you why I’m voting for my father for sheriff. By now if you follow his campaign page, you know what he’s running on, but I’m not here to talk to you about all that. I’m writing another side of him you may not know.

    Veterans for Miller

The election process is starting once again and this time it is to elect a new Sheriff!
As an U.S. Air Force veteran, I would like to express a growing trend and viewpoint, that I share with many of my veteran friends.

    Information questioned

I just had the opportunity to watch the Young Republican’s Forum from last week and want to know where the Candidate Captain Miller is getting his information.
God blessed me with three sons and two of them, thanks to the drugs in our Bedford County Public Schools, two of them have been jailed or in detention because as a working mother I just can’t watch them every second of the day. Parents have to trust the school system and the sheriff’s department.

    Supports Miller for Sheriff

It is both a privilege and an honor for me to endorse Captain Mike Miller for Bedford County Sheriff. I have known Mike and his family for over 30 years, since serving as his pastor back in the mid 80’s. I have found him to be a loving husband and father and a man of sincere faith in God.

I read our lovely landfill will be full sooner than expected and it will cost many millions to expand it and possibly not in time.
At the same time today, I saw a new show my 4-year-old wanted to watch on PBS in which they had a trash problem and solved it by 90% reduction of garbage. Using recycling, reuse and reduction and more. The show is called Cyberchase I think in case you also have a 4-year-old who thinks it’s age appropriate for them to watch.

    Supports Miller for Sheriff

As I approach my retirement, having served 40 years with the Bedford County Sheriff’s Office, I want to express my sincere appreciation to the citizens of our county for their continued support of the law enforcement community.
A change of leadership at the Bedford County Sheriff’s Office is imminent at the end of this year, thus I ask for your support of candidate Mike Miller.

    Disgracing their

I read the article “Bedford PD to carry mags honoring ‘Bedford Boy’” in the 13 March 2019 (vol. 58, no. 51) edition of “The Bedford Bulletin”.  I was horrified, repulsed and shocked.

    fundamentalist Islam

Now that the Democrats have decided to embrace the flagrant anti-Semite, Ilhan Omar, it’s time to discuss the connection between anti-Semitism and fundamentalist Islam. This connection is almost never mentioned because of fear of being labeled Islamophobic, a term coined by the Islamist group CAIR to cut off criticism of Islam.
