  • War with Iran?

A couple of weeks ago, Rick Howell entitled his Liberal Agenda column “There must not be war with Iran.”
Of course, we know from his past columns that, like other denizens of the so called “Democratic” Party’s extreme left, he hates the military and hates President Donald Trump. We also know that the Iran nuclear deal, which president Trump pulled out of, was the final act of his god Barack Obama’s foreign policy.

    Sure Is quiet

If you haven’t read Doug Mayhew’s letter of 2-13-19, you certainly should.  He made it clear as to how the inter-circle of the Sheriff’s office works.  This is only a small part of the operation.

  • Time for deep cuts to military spending

Rep. Tulsi Gabbard, Democrat of Hawaii, is one of many candidates for her party’s nomination for president in 2020. She’s a long shot, to be sure. But her campaign has already set a standard in modern politics that others will hopefully emulate.
Gabbard is a combat veteran, having served two deployments in Iraq as a soldier in the Hawaii Army National Guard. She started in politics in Hawaii’s state legislature, and has now served four terms in Congress.

  • Government does something right

I’m always suspicious about government. Government, especially the federal government, has a tremendous capacity for screwing things up. Local government, especially small local governments, tend to be much better, although I still prefer the private sector.

  • There must not be war with Iran

When Donald Trump took the oath of office as president, those who watch foreign policy knew the world would become a more dangerous place, and that any attempt at good American relations with Iran was doomed.
Trump has no business managing U.S. foreign policy. In his simple mind there are only “bad guys” and “good guys” in the world. If you think his understanding of our planet gets any more complicated than that, you’re kidding yourself.

  • Trump may still win

“Democrats” had better be careful. While they and their buddies in the news media and entertainment industry have nothing but disdain for President Donald Trump, he could still be reelected in 2020.
As of this writing, President Trump’s approval rating is 47 percent, according to the Rasmussen Poll. His approval rating continues to parallel that of Barack Obama at the same point in has first term, something that has been true since the end of 2017. Obama won reelection in 2012.
