One goal would have been enough for the Lady Minutemen soccer team to defeat Brookville. Instead, the Liberty offense put eight balls in the back of Brookville's net and cruised to an 8-0 victory to advance to the semi-finals of the 3C Regional Tournament.

Freshman Lydia Young struck five minutes in off the pass from Delaney Snead. Shortly after Young again found the back of the net to give Liberty a 2-0 lead.

  • 13 Cavaliers sign

The front hallway of Jefferson Forest High School was filled with students and parents itching to get a good view of the Cavaliers’ monster signing for the 2018 class. Three tables were set up to hold 12 of the 13 students–one was not present–as they signed to continue their athletic career and education.

Swimmers–Lizzy Braud, Brian Grimmett, Sutton Schonfelder and Caleb Rice–made up a third of the athletes present and got their own table.
