On Sunday evening, December 10th, Bedford Presbyterian Church will present its 36th annual Abendmusik program. The program will be a concert of Christmas Carols beautifully arranged for Adult, Children & Youth Choirs, accompanied by piano and string quartet. The 16 voice choir will be comprised of singers from our own church and community. 27 children and youth from Bedford Singing School will make up our children’s and youth choirs. Piano accompaniment will be provided by Johnson Scott, minister of music at Main Street Methodist.
The evening of Christmas music will begin at 6:30 with a mini-concert by local artists, Riddle on the Harp, who will be performing carols on traditional Celtic and Appalachian instruments. They will be followed at 7:00 by a program of beautiful choral and instrumental music celebrating the season.
